This is a blog that’s designed to be a comprehensive guide to the Chocobo Racing minigame in Final Fantasy XIV. If you have no idea what that is, you’ve probably gotten lost somewhere.
The posts in this blog are organized according to a tiered system based on what level of experience they are written to. To get started, pick which statement below best applies to you.

Alternatively, you can browse posts by category as well by clicking on the set of bars in the top right corner of the page. The posts are classified as Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced based on which of the above categories they’re catered to. Notably, there’s one additional way posts are classified:
Racing posts focus on racing itself, such as how to best navigate courses, understand items, and otherwise improve your chances at victory.
Training posts discuss topics related to bettering your chocobo, either through increasing its stats or improving its abilities.
Breeding posts discuss the various things you need to know about breeding chocobos to make ones that have higher potential.
There’s also an oddball In-depth category which is there for posts that describe something very particular in more detail than most people would probably find necessary to know. You can find a list of posts in this category here.
